About Us

Bitterroot Rock & Ready Mix was started in 2000 by a local resident that saw a need for concrete and gravel in the southern portion of the Bitterroot Valley. In 2004, the business was purchased by the current owner, a 5th generation Bitterrooter. A few years after getting the ins and outs of the business organized, the construction of our new office & shop was started. Construction was completed in 2008. 

Since 2000, we have continued to serve a growing number of customers throughout the Bitterroot Valley, working with general contractors, government agencies, business, and homeowners. 

Bitterroot Rock is a proud sponsor of our valley’s schools and their athletics, among other things.

In 2021 Bitterroot Rock started the Bitterroot Rock Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded to one individual, each year, that is pursuing an education or career in a construction trade, or Commercial driving type field. 

We are proud to support our Local Schools, The Ravalli County Fair, Chicks N Chaps, The Foundation for Wildlife Management, Mule Deer Foundation, and the Darby Rodeo.
