Part-time Cdl Driver (DUMP TRUCK & READY-MIX DRIVER )

SALARY: D.O.E. 

SHIFT & SCHEDULE: Varied / Monday-Friday, 6am-12pm

We are currently hiring a Part-Time Driver with a solid history of teamwork and professionalism to join our team. The hours can vary, but mornings are most typical. We are willing to train the right candidate. Starting pay will depend on experience, knowledge, license class and willingness to learn and take on more responsibility. This could lead into a Full-Time position if desired.  

- Operate and safely drive any vehicle assigned.

- Communicate with front office and management as needed.

- Adhere to all company regulations for federal and state DOT safety policies

- Ability to read, write & understand instructions in English

- Complete required pre and post trip inspections reporting necessary maintenance

- Communicate with front office and management to facilitate the flow of information required to provide excellent customer service

- Maintain a clean and safe work area and a clean truck appearance inside and out

- Ability to operate truck to receive load, evaluate slump and drive to job site

- Ability to do minor repairs and troubleshoot & communicate truck issues

- Report all incidents immediately to management

- Work cooperatively and promote good relationships with contractors and other clients

- Maintain equipment at DOT regulations & cooperate with DOT inspection officers when necessary

- Valid Class B CDL REQUIRED, Class A CDL is a plus with a clean driving record

- Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings, including DOT physical, drug testing, and background check

- Occasional ability to lift up to 70 lbs. at a time.

- Previous dump truck and ready mix driving preferred but not required
